The gore was amazing! I love the tinges of the Old Testament that lurk in the making of these teen horror films, ie, "It is written, that those who dare to indulge in licentious behaviour will feel the mighty wrath of God and all his creatures both large and small, especially Piranha!"
I noticed the coke snorting porn crew were all devoured to the very last morsel by the righteous Piranha vigilantes! It was hilarious to see the Directors dick being swallowed whole by the hungry fish! PORN FOLK YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
Must see it in 3 D when we are back in Budapest!

I suspect a huge part of the reason for it being a load of fun is because the Weinsteins (former owners of the now defunct Miramax) know a fair bit about those type of movies, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and many more. They ar elike the HBO of movies
Lets face it, Piranha couldve been fucking awful instead of awfully fun and its a perfect no brainer enertaining movie that never takes itself seriously.
The moment you see Richard Dreyfuss singing Show Me The way To Go Home shows its a piss take homage to a much bigger fish movie.
Just a shame he still didnt have a bigger boat !happy!
I've been sitting on the clip for a few weeks now Jim so when my webmaster gets it on the servers I'll post the link up and see what went down in Berlin.

If you remember the very last bit, when the scientist announces that the Piranhas are only, "Babies" and he asks, "Where are the adults?" and he immediately gets gobbled up by a giant flying piranha. Well I presume that's a taster for "Piranha 3D They're Back and they're BIGGER!" lol

I was interested to read that James Cameron has lambasted "Piranha 3D"
as exactly the kind of movie people should NOT watch in 3D as "it
cheapens the medium" and is just a throwback to the cheap horror
thrills of the 1960`s and 1970`s. The producer of "Piranha 3D" replied
in the trade press that Cameron was a pretentious asshole !
Strange but true, the famous Mr Cameron worked as a young man in 1981
on Piranha II The Spawning but got fired on the 8th day !!! Perhaps he
has hated the little critters ever since ?

Worked in 3D for me and I'd rather see real titties in 3D than alien titties.
Besides, as much as I love James Cameron and his massive ego he has to realise what he has started here.
The same technology he spearheaded with the Abyss went on to Terminator 2 then onto Jurassic Park. He doesnt own the technology. it is sold off or licensed out to whoever wnts to use it.
Or does his lordship think that he owns the rights to 3D technology as well?
If anything he shouldve bitched about the fact Resident Evil quoted their 3D movie as the same as used by Avatar. I thought he wouldve moaned about that association.
3D is fast losing its novelty anyway because its become so mainstream so quickly and spilled off the big screen to home viewing now
Who among you has Sky 3D? Come on fess up! Is it any good? I'm sure its brilliant but does anyone really want it?
If anything people will future proof in 3D and still keep the 2D option

Great vid OEJ, well done. Riley looks the epitome of the cute "Girl next door" and if I were a Pirahna I'd certainly be licking my lips if I saw her swimming around!
Luckily, I have bought my very own copy of Pirahna 3D, so I may have to have another sneaky paw through it later on, after I have travelled a 100 miles to retrieve some stuff I've left at a location!!furious!

Since 3D screens are all the rage here in Hungary I went to see this
cinematic gem last night.
It seemed intensely dull and formulaic to me up until the Great Piranha
Attack sequence which is really well done and suitably gory !!
I am not sure whether the producers secretly hate porn people or see
them as a good joke....but in addition to the rough demise of the
(apparently) soft porn film crew, I noticed several well known female
porn stars getting sliced up by piranha.....I also rather relished
watching drunken neanderthal stupid young Americans getting killed,
but then I am an elitist sicko !
The 3D effects - despite James Cameron hating the movie - were better
even than Avatar in some respects....especially under water.
Though watching a floating torn penis getting chewed up and spat out
by a piranha as it floats eeerily in front of my eyes was rather.... er,
uncomfortable. Especially as it belonged to a fellow porn director !!!!
