Havent seen this yet but I just watched episode 9 where a japanes mum crying about her baby walks in among aerican soldiers pulls her shawl off and blows herself up killing them.
Seeing the body come apart and the baby crying in her arms before hand really shocked me/
They really didnt ramp with the violence of war in this series.
Anything that involves babaies and extreme violence really bothers me but it illustrates how mindless and desperate and wanton of acts violence can be and to sensationalise it and glorify it sends the wrong message out more than real thing would.
The scary thing about most violence is that you dont see it coming and it is usually at the spur of the moment and instantaneous in its result..Kinda like London Boulevard which I saw last night.
