I'm going to predict what's going to happen in 2018.

Assuming England qualify, England will loose a match (one of many they'll loose).

The England "fans" will kick off (as England "fans" are inclined to do when they think ?we?ve been robbed?).

The Russian Police will give the "fans" a really good kicking (as the Russian Police are inclined to do to anyone who gives them any grief).

Lots of England "fans" will be arrested, treated badly and thrown into stinking Russian prison. Standard treatment for anyone in Russia is who doesn't follow the rules, unless you?re rich or have a mafia connection that is (which is the same thing in Russia).

The Scum (Sun), The Mail and the rest of the media will be up-in-arms about the treatment of "our boys".

Anyone think I'm completely off target with this prediction?

Having managed to nobble the FIFA committee, the final objective will be for Russia to actually win the World Cup itself. Can you imagine it? All the FIFA officials, linesmen, referees all in Russia and most ripe for a nice fat bribe. It will be carnage. God help us if we or any other Western Europe team, have to play Russia at any point, the Russkies will be able to more or less make any foul they wish, in fact they'll be able to actually play a version of Rugby to our football! They'll be able to make even Maradona blush!

The next World Cup will be a mockery and the one after that? Even worse my guess is.

After having a goal disallowed against Germany, in South Africa, those fans didn't kick off. Also, plenty of English fans were in Moscow and few years ago for the Champions League final between Man Utd and Chelsea and no Russian police didn't deal out any kickings.

Eh? I don't know how they can be compared. A Russian reporter's death, at the hands of Russian agents, for something he/she wrote, isn't the same as withholding aid just to 'teach them a lesson' when thousands are dying due to some natural disaster.
