Being a bit basic I understand racism to be practised by white supremacists who hate all non white and non Christians. Now that is a lot of people.
Calling someone a black twatt or black cunt is just descriptive and their colour is descriptive. Personally though I have many white friends and have met many many white people around the world I have also met quite a few coloured people who could put some of them to shame.
I iterate, I care not one iota for a persons skin colour or religion. Anyone who wants to kill me and other countrymen and women because we do not subscribe to their twisted logic are fair game for me and any one lucky enough to have them in their gunsights.

All too often people refer to the most obvious physical point when flaming someone, so yes I think alot of people will insert black/white into an angry statement without being racist. Its part of our psychological make-up.

Its no different to say for example being cut up by someone wearing glasses and shouting 'you four eyed cunt' at them, it's not that the person hates all people with glasses its just the most obvious physical difference to them at the time. You fat shite, you big eared fucker, you ginger twat, you stupid white shit, you fuckwitted black bastard etc.

The inclusion of a colour into an insult is merely the persons selected choice of insult at the time and is not an intentional point of racism per se.

Of course for some people it is I'll not deny.

While we're at it, as a Martian, I object to Earth People referring to me as a 'Little Green Man'. Very hurtful.

I've pulled people up for that in the past. I don't read every post so missed it.

On this note, I'm fully aware that the Irish, Scots, Welsh, English, Yanks and Aussies banter with one another in a teasing way where none of us get that offended. I don't think Rodders' intention was to tease Somali pirates, though.

I don't see how identifying the driver to the police is the same. In that instance you're describing the driver and race is part of that description. Rodders calling Somali pirates 'black robbing arseholes' is totally different in context. He was insulting them (deserving maybe) and using their colour at the same time.

If your doctor tells you your pain in your ankles is due to you being obese, he's not insulting you. If he calls you an obese, sweaty bastard, he is. Got it?

Exactly. Which is why I told Rodders that if he didn't want anyone thinking he's a racist then he should stay clear of using someone's colour alongside derogatory comments.

And what you say about people picking up on the most obvious thing when flaming them, I think, is an obvious reason why you shouldn't pick up on race. If I call you a 'big eared cunt', it's obvious I'm picking up on something I (or society in general) consider wrong about you; I'm picking up on a negative, or defect. The same goes with 'cock-eyed twat', 'fat fucker', big-nosed bastard' and 'gap-toothed fuckwit'. I could go on but you see my point now. No one really wants big ears, a lazy eye, to be 30 stone or big gaps in their teeth. Using 'black' in the same context is saying 'I'm better than you cos I'm not black'. That, to me, is a form of racism, even if it wasn't your intention.
Why wasn`t it racist when Jamie Foxx and his staff called Miley Cyrus a white bitch on his radio show in that case or do the rules only work one way?
I'm sorry, I didn't think I was in charge of what's racist on every radio station in the world. If you want my opinion I'd say it was.
Refering to race doen`t mean you`re a racist. Could mean you`re angry at a prick and thats the only thing that comes to mind.
EXACTLY! You're angry and so in no mood to offer them compliments. Now, why would someone's colour be the first thing to come to mind when you're angry and about to insult them? Because, you think being black is bad/wrong?
A racist is a prick who brags about kicking the shit out of his sister because she got pregnant by a black guy and boasts about it as if it were natural.
That would be a racist with anger management issues. A complete 'nutcase' if you prefer.
