Dear ole Arry Redknapp, ex-Pompey owner Mandaric and Peter Storrie should be making an appearance at Crown Court on September 14th. Apparently according to the Echo they are charged with 3 offences of being "a bit forgetful" on the tax evasion front.
Now you would have thought that this lot had a few quid put away for a rainy day which would have done away with all this malarkey, but according to the Revenue, apparently not. The sums involved are slightly more than signing on the bru and doing a bit of bog cleaning as well. But who knows, maybe our tricky threesome were doing that as well?
Of course innocent until proven guilty but this one is being watched with interest.

The real cause of this problem is the sandal wearing left wing social minded bastards. They are the ones who over a period of time have adjusted the rules so that any arsehole with fuckall and never paid a penny towards the State can live the life of fucking Riley, high on the hog at our expense. We who have paid our dues for years through hard toil and hard earned wages get fuckall.
I was made redundant several years ago and when I signed on I got fuckall. Fuckall because I was in receipt of an Army pension that was greater than the stupidly named "Job Seekers Allowance" An Army pension that I had paid into for 22 fucking years I might add!!
I am one of the unfortunate ones who like many of you who read this, work, pay tax and have a mortgage and are fucking easy for the fucking authorities to fucking get hold of if they want to steal more fucking dosh to pay for their fucking incompetent management.
The fucking benefit system need overhauling and no bastard should get more by not working. Fucking simple. It just needs someone with balls to do it. The arseholes milking our system need fucking sorting out. I don't advocate gassing, as I have stood in a gas chamber and it is sureal I can tell you, but these bastards need sorting out some way.

Very droll, Rodders, very droll! My understanding is that an 18 year old unemployed person gets about ?52 a week for Jobseekers Allowance. More than enough to buy a fish and chip supper, a Morris Traveller and, with the left-over change, a two up two down terraced house in a mill town, I would have thought.
Happy days indeed. I look forward to your next post on trapping rabbits, stewing greyhounds, making a small fortune out of racing pigeons and making firelighters out of the unemployed.

Do some people take the piss with regard to benefits? Yes they do. But the bottom line is that tax evasion and tax avoidance is a far, far, far bigger problem in this country than benefit fraud.
If you read the tabloids on a regular basis you would come across hundreds of stories of benefit fraud and dole scroungers etc. How many stories do you read about tax evaders and tax avoiders in the same newspapers? Hardly any.
Its the same with the government's approach - on and on about benefit fraud and cutting back benefits; very little about tax evasion and fraud.
A number of the people on this forum do not seem able to see through this game and merely pass on in their postings here, the prejudice spewed out to them by the tabloids and the government.
You should be pleased with yourself that you have seen through this whole charade.
