I'd check your tv's picture settings. You shouldn't have anything 'chopped off'. I'm assuming you've got a 16:9 tv and have it on 16:9 (not 16:10 / auto / 4:3 / or some sort of 'zoom'?).

It's set up properly, just overscans a little too much like 99.9% of tvs do
