Its always nice to hear from people who are much more knowledgable about a place that I am not.

It never ceases to amaze me why people come up on here and harp on about Africa by what they hear or read on the news.

My first impression is their comments are based on racism, resentment or anger...Which still belies racism at the core of their argument.

If people are against immigration so much then maybe they should be in support of keeping their noses and business out of other countries too but this is not realisitic because without Africa, the western world would not be as fully functional on its creature comforts, food and entertainment.

Do you really think that Microsft invest heavily in Africa because they are just humanitarians?

They are business people investing in the future security and stability of their business because without Africa microsoft wouldnt exist and technology would not be what it is today.

America may have a strangle hold in terms of finance oand military power but the sheer resources available in that continet called Africa makes America pale into insignificance and Britain even more so.

I am no expert on Africa but I hear a lot of amazing contributions and when people from there and the likes of Jerry who has been there, i sit up and pay attention.

All I can say mr McFister is that if Africa was really that bad and was a shit hiole that had nothing to offe rthe world then people wouldnt be bothered to talk about it in the media but the race is on for who can fuck them out of their own country and colonise it without making themselves look too bad and I suspect a lot of people would rather they all kill each other, starve, die of hunger and generally hurry up and die so they can bury them all in one mass grave and take over their continent.

Well thats the truth of it isnt it? Otherwise why harp on the trillions that have been spent on them over 50 years.

This is human life we are talking about and I would defend the white man as much if the shoe was on the other foot.

Life is sacred and no amount of money should be used as a price tag on it. Theres someone in somepart of the world that helped contribute to the lifestyle I live and people should learn to realise the signigficance of symbiosis between all of us on this planet.
