Bervie Chipper is quality and is well known up North.
The best Ive had is Harry Ramsdens in Inverness a couple of years ago.

Do you like puting anything on your Fish and Chips? I love Curry or Gravy.

!cool!

The worst in some shitty little Welsh village near Wrexham.
The bastard fried the fish until the batter was the colour of dark chocolate.
The batter was like a fucking armoured shroud and the fish, whatever the fuck it was, was cooked so hard you could've used it as a brick. I took the shit back and threw it in the door and said "You eat the fucker, cos I aint"

There was no choice of fish either. No cod, no plaice, no haddock, just fish. God knows what the fuck it was but it was fucking awful. Mind you, not all Welsh villages are shitty. The chippy in Towyn was fucking brilliant when I was stationed there.
The best was in Swanage down by the seafront.

Apparently she really rated the fish and chips in the Devonshire Arms in Blackpool. It was in the Sun so it must be true.
