wicker man and breaker morant were his best films. Never really got the big movie roles he should have got but probably made more money out of the equalizer than most of his other stuff put together.
think equalizer may have ended due to his ill health rather than poor ratings.

Best thing about the Equalizer was the Jag.
Check out Breaker Morant - a good film, but I am biased towards the Light Horse.

I hope it was the original and not the re-make with Nicholas Cage which was crap.
The Edward Woodward version is superb and really frightening.

I noticed in his obituary he was married to Michelle Dotrice. Wasnt she Frank Spencers long suffering wife i Some Mothers D Ave Em?
Call me sad but I was obsessed with watching programmes from beginning to end including credits which is how I know
