Fantastic acting by a largely British cast.
Superb scripts.
Brilliant production.
The best opening song ever!
also dont forget - "Our Friends in the North". The best show ever made by British TV.

The emmanuelle series from france in the early 90s with your hosts sylvia kristel und george lazenby . There are hardcore versiones.

How about 'Bodies' from five years back, surely the best tv medical drama, royally pees all over Holby anyway. And just ?10.98 on Amazon, check it! !banana!

Not that I can recall, but some steamy moments...just a top BBC drama, have yet to see a bad review.

I loved The Sopranos, but for me The Wire just tops it. I watched them all on DVD a couple of years ago, and then watched it again on BBC - if anything, if was even more outstanding second time around.
Every aspect - the writing, the acting, the characterisation and the way that each season seamlessly fitted together - was just amazing. The closest thing to a television version of a novel I've ever seen.
So for me, The Wire first, then The Sopranos, then The West Wing.
