"To those of you who know me persoanlly you will know beyond doubt what a sincere and genuine person I am"

Does anyone - anyone at all - fall into that category?

Forward all your emails from "Nigerian former ministers who have large sums of money due to them but just need you to do them a couple of favours and they will share the loot with you" to JEANIE.

That should help her raise the money she so desperately needs for the poor kiddies far more quickly. Doesn't she know there's a slump and that porn producers, actresses and models are short of money and work?

2nd paragraph down states 'no school in Sam Mbollet of any kind' and the page source shows the page was last updated on September 8th.

SO UNLESS JEANIE BUILT HER SCHOOL OVERNIGHT

I guess we can ring them up and cancel the concert?

Care to comment JEANIE/twister?

I think you're going to have do a better comment than that!

(by the way, get firefox and add-on linkification, and it turns all text links into clickable links anyway, so I don't ever have to cut and paste)

"The Glove Project is currently supporting the village of Sam Mbollet in The Gambia. The village has only a contaminated well to provide water, and has no mains electricity or even a generator. There is no school or clinic of any kind.

With the continued help of The Glove Project, this could all change, and improve the quality of life for it's villagers immensely. For more information about The Glove Project please visit www.gloveproject.org"

Taken from http://www.gloveproject.org/page3.htm

"EDUCATION: (in the village of Sam Mbollet)

If a child is lucky enough to belong to a family that can afford to pay the school fees, the nearest schools are 2kms away.

In the searing heat of the day or during the heavy down pours of the summer months, that is a long walk but it is a walk those few lucky children are happy to make. It costs from ?75 to pay for a child to attend primary school for a whole year: this includes books, pencils and a uniform, exams are extra."

Hi David,

I admire the way you have steadfastly tried to get answers from Jeanie regarding our concerns but I can't say I'm surprised that she has refused to answer the questions raised. She has failed to adequately answer any questions about her foundation, she just posts meaningless waffle and half baked replies.

I've tried- and am trying- to merely read this and keep out of it; and I am certainly not making accusations.

Just asking a question or two:

Why is the Jeanie Foundation not a registered charity? A company-limited-by-guarantee [to give her company it's proper description] indeed pays no dividend. But it can pay wages. It usually exists as a trading company, as charities cannot trade in all forms.

But where is the charity? The only places I see guarantee companies with no charity is the area of mutually owned businesses such as sporting clubs or small tourist attractions.

So why no charity? And who are the Directors of the Company?
