4 becomes 6 when you add 45 seconds for the Bellamy celebration, 30 seconds for the substitution and 45 seconds for the Owen celebration.

At the end of the day had either side defended better they would have won.

Great result for the Premiership.

I have no particular problem with anything that happened yesterday. We simply weren't good enough. We sat back and defended after Rooney's goal after 2 mins when Shaun Wright-Phillips and Micah Richards were asleep. We were then gifted two goals from Foster and Ferdinand respectively to get us back in the game and we should have scored in the same injury time moments before Owen did but Micah Richards missed the ball.
Shay Given, De-Jong, Wright Phillips, Barry and the outstanding Craig Bellamy played well. The rest were less than average.

Great, great game though !

I'd have loved it, just loved it if Man City had nicked the winner 10 minutes into extra time, just to wipe that smile off Gary Neville and for Fergie to go into meltdown at the ref

the fact of the matter is that over a minute of extra time was added on for bellemy's injury time goal but the favour was not recipricated for Owens goal - 16 seconds was all that was added on - that simply is not fair, you can't have one rule for one team and another for the other team

Time for a seperate time keeper.

And why can't they just put camera's in the posts and bar (like the stump cameras in cricket) to sort out the over the line debate instead two more idiot officials ?

16 seconds added on for Owen's goal? That's simply not true. Since most sources are saying Owen scored around 95:27 and since the game didn't finish until after 97:00 (even Mark Hughes alluded to the game having 7 mins extra time) then your 16 seconds is very suspect.

According to BBC Radio Five Live's interview with Man City assistant Mark Bowen they told him that the ref added on 80 seconds for Owen's goal ? Bowen didn't argue against that.

i read somewhere the argument was it "interupted the flow of the game"!football! but i would have thought if the decisions were ultimately right, who"s going to mind that?........When you think how much is at stake (and i dont just mean the with all the sad faces behind goal when the wrong team scores) it seems crazy not to..... I Bet micheal owens mum"s pleased he scored again, bless!bravo! x
