That would be someone from the Guardianista whose job is to basically condone the atrocities of the vermin who committed this horrific murder.

Nobody is saying it JUSTIFIES the murder.
However I think these people (the adults involved) ARE victims.
If we go back 20 years, similar things were happening to the mother (sexually abused, mother taking drugs, heavy drinking etc) that happened to baby p.
So if baby p's mother grew up with THAT sort of home life how can SHE ever know what it is to be a "normal" mother and have a "normal" life.
So HER parents are just as much resposible for the death of baby p as she is.
Remember when Pete Townsend (of the Who) was found to be accessing child porn sites. His "excuse" was that HE had been molested as a child and was now "researching" it.
So (if true) it could be said HE was a victim as well.

What did Phillip Larkin say in his poem
Philip Larkin - This Be The Verse
They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.
But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.
Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don't have any kids yourself.

Argue about their sentences if you want but to imply that they shouldn't be protected if ever released is just your style.
You don't need to be a product of the nanny state to get what my nan always told me as a kid: "Two wrongs don't make a right."

No... That was max himself....
Sad but true...
This is just my way of taking the piss out of him, regarding the embarrassing GFY debacle...

When a criminal act has been committed the traditional view is that there are (1), the perpetrators and (2) the victims. However, over the past 20 years or so this well establish stance has been challenged, and overturned, by the Guardianista and associated upper-middle class luvvie lawyers and completely out-of-touch-with-reality sociologists.

What would happen if you or I went round to this mongs abode and kicked It's head in? Would we be classed as victims? Would we have vast regiments of luvvie lawyers who will sycophantly fawn over us, telling us that we are "not really bad boys" and "there there, don't take any notice of those horrible people"?

I read today that the mother has apparently got to watch her back because many of the lags in the jail she is in are keen to kick her head in (she deserves it!) but what really annoys me is that people like that are then moved to a luxury safe place, better known as the VPU (the Vulnerable Persons Unit) where she will be safe for the whole of her sentence. The only time she'll be in danger is when she is in the initial prison she is in, like Belmarsh, which is basically a clearing house while they wait to transfer you to the prison you are likely to be staying in for the rest of your sentence. I've read and heard that this is how things go - initially everyone is thrown in together, and that is when people like her are vulnerable to attack, but after that she is safe - sadly.

So, basically, you'd somehow feel better if murderers could be given a good kicking throughout their lives? And this does what exactly?; stop other children being killed?; bring the kid back to life?; what?
