Strange that where I am (down under) the 'serious' media outlets said he was dead well before the froth-n-bubble stations said anything more than that he was in a coma.

I thought he did some great music but diluted it with lots of dross. It might be better that he died early rather than slowly become more and more ridiculous in old age.

This strange manchild was obviously a deeply troubled soul, but at the height of his powers he was also a genius.

Great musician but far from a great human being.Very flawed and should have done far more for others given his attributes.Arrogant to the end,the night before he was three hours late for rehearsals.The grim reaper gets us all but it seems he came calling for this strange man too soon.His musical legacy is immense.

Too late! In Jacko's case, his ridiculous old age started in his 30's! It's telling that the musical footage being spewed out by the media is all at least 25 years old
