I've just had the bnp election leaflet through the door. At least they dont deliver them through your window wrapped round a brick. Their slogan 'British Jobs for British Workers' loses some of its force when you know that the photographs illustrating said 'British Workers' are actually from an American photo agency and show American 'workers'. As for the Spitfire on the front, apparently it has the markings of a Polish squadron on it. The 'doctor' quoted says '....I see what immigration has done to the NHS.' Well what its done for my mother in law is largely and compassionately staff the stroke unit she has been in for 3 months, and the hospital my elderly father was in for several operations last year, and....I could go on.

The BNP think they are going to win seats in Europe this June and they may be right. I think they were probably going to anyway but with what has happened in the last two weeks, with everyone getting hacked off with the MP's having their noses in the trough, I think the BNP will do even better. When people get fed up with the main three parties they consider voting for other ones - like UKIP, the Greens, or maybe even these guys. Then today it is all over the news that asylum applications, for people claiming asylum in the UK, have gone up by 27% in the last quarter - while they have gone up by an average of 2% in the rest of Europe. At the same time removals of failed asylum seekers have dropped. The timing of all this is manner from heaven for the BNP. They are bound to do well in June. Personally I will be voting for UKIP - I am fed up with the main three and I dont like how deeply in Europe we are, so UKIP here I come!
