Depends how long you are staying but both of you could head further north up the west coast. Take in the Lochs,Islands and Wildlife.

If you are whisky lovers u could do the Malt Whiskey Trail!

Like that film "Sideways" but with the hard stuff!happy!

I'd give Glasgow a miss altogether if I were you... go a bit further down the west coast... Ayr is nice, as I recall.

I've worked up there a fair bit and I love it. Great place, great people but according to them 'I'm not English, I'm a Geordie'. They do like their drink and they're Gentlemen (at least the ones I've met).

Yeah I cannae be arsed with the anti-english stuff myself.

One of my mates is from Leicester he moved up here a couple of years back and has got into wildlife photography. loves it up here and is always pointing out different types of birds and landscapes ect.

Of course been surrounded by this stuff all my life I dont appreciate it.

But when Im in a City Im like "oooooooh big buildings" lol

Theres some bars in Glasgow where even Scotsmen wear England tops and if you give them a quick burst of "God Save The Queen" they would probably buy you a round.

They normally have big Union Jacks outside!happy!

It's glasgow he's going to not the loch's, mountains etc. lol

It depends what you're looking for. If it's a good night out, then there's loads of good pubs. The Arches if you're into dance music, but that can be a bit wild (in a good way) The Sub Club's a cracking club, it's a relatively mixed age group and there's never really any trouble in it.

You can head to The Merchany City if it's just pubs you're looking for. There's some really good ones down there.

One thing to watch though is the bouncers. They won't start any trouble or anything, they're just really good at giving random knockbacks for no good reason and no explanation. It's pretty fuckin annoying.

Total and utter shite? Yeah I was just born there and lived most of my life in Drumchapel til someone was knifed on my front door.
