Hey Max. I can buy your comments about the inner cities immigrant explosion but isnt that the case with most inner cities that have a heavy mix of different races?

I thought the affluent white folk lived in Devon, Cornwall and similar places.

In other words where some places may appear to be over populated with people from varying ethnic backgrounds, wouldnt it be fair to say a majority of Britain is still populated by its indigenous white people?

Having said that, some might view a couple of the folk of a darker hue living in their neighbourhood as being a few too many.

Is that the case here also?

I can imagine those that dont like areas populated by types they dont feel comfortable with (for whatever reason) would have moved somewhere they did feel happy.

This thread reads like the BNP have taken it over!

Where do we start? The St.George's Day Parade in Sandwell that had the BNP, an Orange Order band and members of the UVF on it? Are they English then?

The Macpherson Report found that there was institutional racism and fascism in this country and this Government has given all people- regardless of race, colour or creed- protection from discrimination and real empowerment. So for the racists out there, the game is up.

Did you know that the BNP is split all over the place? Or that it still has Hitler supporting Holocaust deniers on board?

Sorry folk- for the Nazi BNP and their camp followers, the game is up.

Fucking hell.....

Scotland is in the UK...Scotland had English PMs from 1964 to 2007, so why can't England have a Scots one for a bit...

So you can live without hydroelectric power, oil, gas, nuclear defence etc. etc....? dream on....

As opposed to the years of prosperity Scotlands seen under English rule. Please don`t take your frustrations out here just because you`ve found out you can`t vote for the lemon party

I don't think anyone on here is in favour of the BNP, it is just interesting to note their rise in recent years - and also I was basically saying that some people are bound to vote for them when they (seemingly) are the only political outfit who give a shit about the white English population. I'm aware of the attitudes of some people in the BNP - I could never vote for them. However, I've never been poor and totally neglected by mainstream politicans who end over backwards to do right by the ethnic minority population (which forms the majority) in an area. This seems to be the case in certain areas in or near Bradford, parts or Oldham, Burnley, parts of the Pennines, etc. I am only going on what I've heard as I live at the other end of the country.

As for there being areas of England that are very English, I agree. I was down in Somerset a while ago and couldn't believe how much that was the case - many of the people in the towns there have probably never seen a non-white person. I think people turn to vote for parties like the BNP when they feel threatened an, like I said earlier, the existance of very English places is by accident and not by design. All it took was one employment agency in Crewe to start advertsing in Eastern Europe and before long there was a large Polish population in Crewe - with Polish shops springing up aswell. That employment agency just took it upon themselves to advetise for factory and farm workers abroad - these people were not political decision makers, just people who ran a company, yet had the power to hugely change an area. One in every 20 people in Southampton is now Polish. There's no planning or designing, things just happen, and if an area is still very English it is just by chance.

i know i am really going to regret commenting on this but i am so wound up now....i think most of the comments on this thread starts off with a declaration of dislike for the BNP then shamelessly continues on as a manifesto for them... i am sorry the world is changing too fast for you all. but it is.. and will continue to do so.. this is not a new arguement.the same racist scaremongering occured at the turn of the last century when the jews of europe came here to escape persecution.but just like in typical daily mail fashion no one here has sugggested any answers to this supposed threat to britishness.. or are u hoping that this fear will make people take things into thier own hands.. like the BNP want.

There are some easy answers to this - have a limit on the number of immigrants. We have the highest immigration into the UK now for over 1,000 years. It is worrying. As for a BNP manifesto, I - like most people - don't really know what they stand for. I remember a debate on BBC1 with David Dimbleby and the three London Mayoral candidates, a few months ago. The subject of the BNP, and how they may win a seat on the London Assembly, kept coming up. Some black people in the audience asked why the BNP are so rarely on TV where they could be asked what their policies were. It really has come to something when even ethnic minority people are complaining that the BNP aren't given enough coverage on the BBC.

Agreed. They do the low paid jobs that others wont do. But most people's issue is with the numbers. We are presently being swamped. Complaining about this will make no differnce to anything though - politicians will continue to do what the hell they like.
