Although no longer practised in this country I believe that there is still an 'official executioner'.
Read somewhere that a UK guy carries out executions in the Caribbean islands, when required, where the death penalty is still in force.

Slightly amusing if not a bit droll, Albert says in his interview that in the pub that he ran called the Struggler: he would give a ?1000.00 reward to find out the name of the person who put up the notice saying No Hanging Around At The Bar !drink!
