Not that old chestnut...

Macs have done right click for ages - on the iMac/Mac Pro the standard Apple mouse will detect a right click, even though it doesn't look like there's a separate button. You can also use pretty much any USB mouse. I use a Microsoft one.

On the laptops you can configure the trackpad to right click by tapping the pad with 2 fingers and also scroll using 2 fingers. It is very intuitive, makes Windows laptops clunky in comparison.

The new Macbook Pros and the Air have multi gesture trackpads, you can scroll, zoom, rotate and swipe - great for photo editing.

I have always been a bit spooked by Apple staff. They remind me a little of the Moonies, religious zealots, with glazed, fixed stares. But I'm going to give them another go!

Oh I'm just having a dig at those that think Mac is king.

It's all down to the application that you want to use it for. A bit like Hassleblad, show me the end result difference between that and an Arax.

I used to think the same way about Apple. I switched to a Mac at the start of this year and after about half an hour I was wondering what took me so long.

I agree to some extent about it being a tool, but the output is superior.

For us photographers, Aperture can do things that no one else comes close to in a single product.

And who else would offer weekly lessons for just ?79 a year? OK you have to be near a store, but they will cover everything from getting started through to Final Cut Studio and the other Professional applications.

I have been to the Apple Store and I am cleansed! I was re-programmed by at least 5 "Friendly and helpful" young folk who all dropped to their knees and gave Thanks when I decided to buy.

I am now the proud owner of an 24" I Mac and I Thank The Lord. I am now instructed to smash my PC's and hit them with the soles of my slippers!
