Used every version of Windows since Windows 95 - which was useless at launch.

Only Windows 98SE can be truly said to have operated as a well behaved, balanced OS - and that only started to be trustworthy after a heavy rework from the original 98 plus a few later tweaks.

2000 and ME were utter rubbish, XP may yet equal 98SE but still has bugs and Vista, whilst I've had no probs, has not been well received.

dont install SP3 as it hurts your pc mine would not boot in normal or safe mode and i am now having to boot from the xp cd-rom!furious!

I did with no ill effects

Just goes to show all updates have different affects on PCs
Pretty much down to what software your running I think
