Re: Chelsea v Man Utd
Ace why do you feel the need to justify Chelsea ground staff were right to give it out. As far as i am aware and from what ive heard through the media Man United players were doing a warm down at the end of the game when the Chelsea ground staff decided to cause bother. Surely there must be some agreement with both clubs. I hope Chelsea study the CCTV footage and take the appropiate action if needs be. As for the game United were not at the races in the 1st half plus the loss of vidic did not help. Credit to Chelsea for the way they played, jesus if the fans created an atmosphere mainly down to the Manu Army. I just hope Ace we get you in the Champions league Final then Revenge will be sweet.

Re: Chelsea v Man Utd
Watched the match at a mates house (who's a Chelsea fan). Chelsea outplayed United in the first half but United came back into it in the second half.
Fergie's pissed off because he thought he'd easily get a draw. He didn't need to win like Chelsea did and so rested Evra, Ronaldo, Scholes, Giggs and Tevez. He made a fuck-up by putting Fletcher in as it was his first game back from injury (Nani's second).
I agree with Fergie when he was moaning at the linesman. It was the same guy who gave nothing at Middlesbrough when one of their players actually dived to handle a shot in the box. In the very first minute Nani was fouled right under this guys nose and he gave a Chelsea goal kick. I turned to my mate and said he was a homer....United were gonna get nothing from him.
Then there's Ballack actually throttling Ronaldo in the box.....lol. If that wasn't a penalty I don't know what is.
All in all, it was a good game and Chelsea played much better than they did in midweek. I don't think it's going to change where the title's heading. West Ham have nothing to play for and owe United 3 points as Man Utd fielded a weakened side on the last day of last season so they managed to stay up, and I also think Wigan will be safe for when Man U go there.
In contrast Newcastle isn't the easy place to go to it was earlier in the season and Bolton may be fighting for their lives to stay up on Chelsea's last game.
The big winner out of this is of course Murdoch and Sky. Such an exciting end to the season's gotta be good for those Sky Sports subscriptions eh?

Seems that all the Manure fans have gone quiet since yesterday.
Re: Chelsea v Man Utd
I don't go for all this "resting" players patter, as seemingly Ferguson "rested" players midweek for the Chelsea game - he can only pick 11 players to start in every game and big name players are going to be "rested" every week. He just picks the best team to play in that particular game against those particular opponents.
Everybody and their granny have confidently predicted Manchester United to win it but the Premier League being what it is I now have a sneaky that Chelsea are going to win their remaining two games and Manchester United are going to draw one of their two (West Ham are a major bogie team to them) - United have recently looked like a team who believe they are going to stroll every game they are playing in ... well that just ain't gonna happen at this stage of the season.

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

It beggers the question of why 3 of the players, Scholes, Park and Tevez were warming down as they never had a game, or even part of a game. The ground staff were correct in attempting to move them on as the warm down period had finished with BOTH sets of players who HAD played finished their warming down period. I think the Mancs were trying to cause some trouble and got their just desserts

Re: Chelsea v Man Utd
I still think both Chelsea and Yahnited will win both their games, though West Ham are a bogey team to Yahnited, but will they do us a favour? !wink!.
One thing is for sure, that this has been an excellent season and Chelsea should take credit for chasing the Mancs all along, especially with the turmoil that has occured at Stamford Bridge in the past 8/9 months.

Turmoil at Stamford Bridge?
Try being a Liverpool fan and every time you pick up the paper you read something else about the boardroom, manager being replaced, new stadium faces credit meltdown etc etc.
If Rafa Benitez can get Liverpool to Moscow (and that's an outside chance at best) then he should get manager of the decade for getting Liverpool there and into the top 4 of the league with all that he's had to put up with.
