Conteh should have achieved more, but seemed more intrested in London nightclub Tramp back in the day.
Herrol was a gifted boxer, but some decent Welsh boys deserve a mention, notably Colin Jones and the late Johnny Owen

Jimmy Wilde was the best Welshman, 131 wins with 99 wins by knockout. He was also named by Ring Magazine, as the 3rd greatest puncher of all time behind Sam Langford and Rocky Marciano.

benn was in a lighter weight division than calzaghe, so they'd never have met, anyway.

errol christie could've been a true great, but, in his own words, at 21 he discovered 'pussy.'

What? Benn was middle/super-middle, and would have surely met.
Benn & Collins shied away from Calzaghe. Only Eubank took him on, and got smacked around (although it was near the end of his career).

benn was a natural middleweight
if calzaghe could meet him at catchweight i reckon benn would have walked through him

Benn had a big heart, but had a shit defence, and I feel Calzaghe would have razzled and dazzled, winning on points, or a late stoppage.
Benn's only defence was ducking so low, he was nearly kissing the ground (and is illegal, but the refs let him get away with it).

Errol was famous for being unconcious 4 foot in the air, Julian Jackson helped out though. The most knock out knock out I have ever seen, looked like someone shot him from the crow, Its the way Ingles teaches them Barry Hearn said to me last week, no sponge under the chin, My vote goes to little Barry Mc
