ever since errikson introduced crouch to the england setup we`ve become a team of long ball merchants that rely on set peices and 30 yard efforts on goal.

Rooney on he`s day when playing for man u is a different class most gifted player this country has seen since gazza.

Cant honestly see him getting too many in the way of goals but he`s easily man u`s most important player even ahead of ronaldo!!

Premiership: Chelsea
FA Cup: Liverpool
Carling Cup: Who Gives A Shit
Champions League: The Mancs (although they should have won it last year).

Down:

Wigan
Derby
Fulham

Top scorer: Michael Owen (although I'd like to say Fernando Torres but that will have to wait for next year).

Reasons for the above:

Chelsea had no cover at centre half last year and lost sooooooo many points with Essien and Ferreira (and Bohlarouz) but this year they have cover. Excellent cover. The Mancs relied on Cristiano Ronaldo too much last season and they need him to be every bit as good again and I reckon he might just drop down a bit. I agree that the Chelsea squad is a bit lop sided with too many central midfielders but they are better than last year. Much better. The Mancs might just prioritize the Champions League over The Prem as well.

Newcastle will be a top six side. Allardyce may not lead them to the promise land but they will be better defensively and won't be the soft touches they have been in the past and Micheal Owen is still top class and full of goals.

Enough said.

Champions League: Chelsea

Spurs will replace Arsenal in the top 4

Relegated:
Birmingham
Derby
Fulham

Top scorer: Berbatov

First manager out of a job: Billy Davies (resignation rather than sacking)

While he may not be the first sacking of the season, the biggest name to be shown the door will be Rafa Benitez

What makes me laugh is how delusional Hammers fans are. Last season was supposed to be big because of the dynamic duo. This season your 'new team' needs to bed down, still lacks depth and real ability and has no tradition of winning.

I'd say ninth if you're lucky. I'd also say that Newcastle will definitely finish above you, along with City, Villa and possibly Pompey/Everton/ Bolton.

Spurs will nick fourth thanks to West Ham's generous role as our feeder club.

How the fuck are spurs still not easily making the top 5 or even competing for it?

They outspend the gooners, `pool and everyone barring the top 2 season in season out yet still fall short time and time again.

They really are the prems great underacheivers, cant wait until lewis`s money drys up and they end up staving off relegation every year where they rightfully belong.
