They want to start shoving empty cardboard boxes from unpacked stock to the front of supermarkets again, so we're not obliged to pack stuff into carrier bags destined only to be landfill the moment we've got them home...

The price of their food is a disgrace.Massive mark ups.I dont begrudge them a profit but .........

I say boycott Tesco, their stuff is crap, all fruit is cold stored so it never ripens and tastes of nothing, their meat is sub-standard, just had some chicken in a chilli sauce, the chicken was all stringy, like it was on Death's door from old age, before Tesco bought it. A pack of "fresh" prawns, I opened on their use by day, stank so bad, I threw them away.

Incidentally, if you spend say ?40 at Lidl on a variety of stuff, including meat, wine etc, my calculations show that the same would cost around ?60-?65 at Sainsburys or Tesco's..........and the quality of the fresh food is great.

Example:

Pinot grigio wine: ?2.99 Sainsburys: ?4.99
Pork crackling joint ?2.99 " ?4.99
Sparkling mineral water
large bottle 25 pence " .69
Rec DVD's X 5 ?1.99 " ?Fuck knows! but its probably alot!

Agreed Jim, continental brands but high quality, it's just a pity they tend to look like maximum security prison's, and I cant be doing with all that shoving a quid in the trolley thing... I love Waitrose food, and the staff (women of course) tend to be extremely helpful and give good head.

Actually very handy for veggie insertions,I always buy mine from some local shop here in Ukraine that keeps everything too cold for too long.Nothing worse than a Banana splitting during penetration.
