I got ?5.8K back from Lloyds-TSB... had to go to the wire though, after being fobbed with generic letters followed advice and put in a claim online with Northampton County Court, they put in a defence and it was referred to my local county court.... I was sent a 'court allocation questionaire' to fill in and whilst I was in the process of completing this, I was contacted by TSB's solicitors who paid up in full incl. costs to date....

They sent me a couple of letters saying their charges were in line with my banking agreement and this had been approved by the banking society, but in good faith and without predudice they offered me two payments totally over 2k. No court or even a need to threaten it.
