It is full of double standards for instance the campaigning for different etnicities and lifestyles to be represented in the media, which is a good thing but if you have ever watched "The Cosby Show", "Goodness Gracious Me" or any number of almost entirely black cast contemporary comedies you will see that it doesn't work both ways.
Equal rights are imperative but Political correctness is unnecessary and badly implemented.

I know a gay couple and they describe themselves as "middle-aged queens"! They don't go in for all this PC rubbish (their phrase). They accept that Tatchell has highlighted the problem of homophobia in this country.

If you are a well adjusted, decent person you won't use offensive terms to someone just because they are different you do not need pc.

If the pc lot had their way this site wouldn't exist. People haven't become less prejudiced or less offensive because of any pc education but because we have a more multi cultural society and people adapt and change people have been educated but not by any pc organisation.
