Don't forget that children are abducted not only by the evil traffic creeps but also as a business in child adoption.

Lets hope that whoever has taken her is caught quickly and perhaps leads the police to a big adoption racket where severel children might be found and loads of people sent to jail....I know I know but you never know!

I guess my real issue is with the press - if they'd been of a "lesser" profession I'd expect to see them ripped to shreds for neglect but certain media outlets seem to think we should emote more because of their work.

I suppose I have a certain amount of anger because I'd expect them to be a tad more sensible with their child care, after all - if they're intelligent enough to be doctors I'd think they'd know the risks of leaving children alone.

I think I'm justified in venting spleen because I am horrified that they would place their child in that situation.

this whole post has pissed me off, i've restrained from commenting cos I didn't want it to turn into a slagging match,

it's a pity the original poster didn't check the facts before jumping in and slagging the parents who must be going through shit at the monent

the fact is that the holiday the parents went on was advertised as a 'parent friendy' holiday where all the eating places were in the complex so they could go and eat and be in close proximety to the kids in safety. Wot do people expect parents to do, sit in a room from 8pm all night just in case a mad nutter comes to abduct a child, madness.

would the original poster slag the parents who had their kid abducted from the bath as much cos they didn't spend every second with them?

Sorry.. but the parents are stupid .Either get a babysitter or eat with them.I understand the complex had a creche facility which they chose not to use.The initial response of the police was also crap which did not help I'm sure.

All over the world people are victims of crime who thought it would not happen to them.How many times do you walk down a street and see a handbag on the front seat...stupid.Fingers crossed it works out OK but this was poor parenting..period...
