That wasn't in the least bit embarrassing. !whistle!

If he has signed a 3 year contract very recently then Charlton's board seem to almost accept relegation and he has 2 years max to bounce them back.

BIG game weekend btw. If you lose at Boro then you are in real trouble cos most teams down there right now are picking points up.

Well, he's gone.

His replacement isn't much better imo.
Wiht West Ham, lucky to reach the play offs and as 1st season back in Prem' did well but then Wigan, Ipswich etc etc did much the same too so it's not unusual. Only hope my team don't get dragged deeper into trouble as we are nearly in the drop zone now.

Jury is still way out on Pardew but it's got to be better than that guy, Les whatsisface.
Who was he anyway?

never in my years of being a non-charlton fan have I heard so much bolloks spoken by so many ungrateful Charlton fans (ok that might be stretching it a bit ... but you get my drift). Longs and short of it is Curbhishly kept Charlton in the top flight via their home form and even then it was a modified backs to the wall job ... even away from home it was not modified it was a hit and run theory of playing, basically the truth of the matter is that Charlton will go down and Curbishley is the one to blame as Les Reed and Ian Dowie kept so many dudds and only tried to mould them in to a decent attacking team and then found them so lacking ... when do the players start taking the blame for what has happened here??

Pardew's inherited a dispirited and demoralised side, probably too late to save us this season, but watch us storm back to be a force again next year!

Next game is a must win as i don't see many points from the following 4 after Boro'. You do then have about 11 games on the bounce which are all much liklier for points so wouldn't rule it out yet.
I don't think you'll make it though personally
Watford, Sheff Utd, Charlton.

Seems a good bet those 3.
