i thought their was some very funny moments,especially the nude fighting in the hotel.

It seemed fairly funny and fairly tiresome in equal measure to me, so really nothing much. I did wonder a little if the film was trading on anti-americanism, even in the face of its startling US success, but really the bigger question is whether or not this sort of humiliation (real or mock-real) should be sold as entertainment regardless of who its picking on. And this is not a film where the audience questions itself (a massive missed opportunity there, Mr Cohen), but a film that allows the audience to smugly chortle along in an elevated position.

In other words, and like a lot of mainstream culture these days, it's very, very middle class.

I gave up on any film hyped, and i do mean any, and stick to indie films as they are always more inventive, less glossy and you don't know all the faces, always a plus for me.

Not seen it as I cannot stand the man, everyone keeps telling me he is funny but he leaves me cold.
Read he went up to someone in the street in New York and tried his act on him and got a kicking for his troubles.

I think Silly Bollocks Cohen is a very clever guy - as proved by his manipulation of the media to get such hysterical OTT hype - but the quality of his output just does not merit such adulation.
Hats off to him though - he must be WELL minted now!
I bet Dom Joly wishes he could have half the publicity enjoyed by him...........Yeshemesh!

Haven't seen it yet, but last night my sister and a friend both raved about it. Very, very funny. Apparently.
