Sam,

No-one is talking about banning faith just making it a private matter. Education is about creating minds open to ideas and not indoctrination that takes place in faith schools.

I agree totally Mike.

Davewells was talking about a ban on faith schools 'and' religion itself, and I just pointed out that it would be impossible unless you could control 'faith', which would be actual mind control.

Hopefully it means we'll just have schools where they don't care about the faith of their pupils full stop!
