I used to watch it, not so much now it's on Sky Sports 3 and for some reason NTL cuts off my Sky Sports 3 at midnight, even though we pay extra for it, but that's a rant for elsewhere.
As I said, I haven't watched it in a while, but last time I watched any Triple H seemed to be about the best "wrestler" in the company, John Cena kept getting pushed up the roster for some reason that nobody seems to be able to fathom, and every match seemed very samey.
The best event I've seen in at least the last 5 years was the first ECW One Night Stand, and it was better than any of the WWE crap by a long way.

Yep I agree the 1997 DX was awesome its still makes me feel quite nostalgic to see them back but the only bad thing about it is as good as they are, you have one guy who is already in his 40's and another at least approaching 40 acting like 'Frat boy juveniles' but still its probably the most entertaining thing I have seen on there for a while.
Lately though the storylines have sucked badly(with Steph writing them) and they have totally screwed up ECW and turned it into a watered down version which is completely out of Paul Heymans control.
I tend to enjoy TNA on TWC lately, ok its on a much smaller scale than WWE but theres a lot less crap storylines and almost always exciting and entertaining matches with guys pulling off aerial moves that I have never seen before(and you'll never see anything like that in WWE as they have banned the moonsault and 450 splash).
I would like to see TNA do well just to give WWE some competition so they do something about the early 1990's style characters(Umaga WTF?) and improve the storylines much the same way WCW did during the Monday night wars. I personally think TNA is one to watch over the next year or two, aside from some WWE rejects they have genuine talent in there like Samoa Joe, AJ Stlyes, Chris Daniels to name a few.
Mike
PS Cena does suck ass!!

I met Owen Hart in Manchester some years back, then sat and in horror some months later as he fell to ring in a stunt entrance that went wrong.
IMHO, the glory days were just proir to TT taking over the WCW and offering up crazy contracts. I used to enjoy the likes of HBK, HHH, DIESEL, RAZOR RAMON, 123, JEFF JARRET, L of DOOM, the Bushwackers, Undertaker (in the early days), Ultimate Warrior, TD Million Dollar Man, Jake the Snake and.......
Of Course The BEST there IS, The BEST there WAS and THE BEST THEY'LL BE :

You can't hate on UMAGA~! That man is absolutely terrific, the way he squashes a jobber. That's what wrestling needs. More squashes!
Although I would like to see TNA be a serious threat to WWE, they need to stop referencing WWE/ECW all the time and concentrate on their own product. The only reasons I seem to watch TNA these days are L.A.X and Samoa Joe. L.A.X are everything D-X should be.
ECW have improved. They just need to get their own TV tapings because the Smackdown crowds just ruin it. The show at the Hammerstein Ballroom proves it. They put CM Punk over like a superstar. If it was in front of a Smackdown crowd, they probably wouldn't have given a shit.

Hahaha don't forget that astonishing marvel of talent The Great Khali the cruiser wieght killer - a rehash of another uselss gobshite giant wrestler El Gigante/Giant Gonzalez the feud Khali is doing now with Taker is identical to that in the 90's.

Absolutely bang on about the referencing and lets just hope they push Samoa as the company's front man hes got all the right qualities and the fans are behind no matter who he wrestles.
I'm not keen on Konnan and never have been since the WCW days, but LAX is pretty cool.
Jarrett needs step down and let some one else hold the belt he seems to be the only thing really holding them back in being part owner and convientently giving himself the belt every years end.

Yeah, in truth I enjoyed that episode in front of the real ECW crowd its cool to see CM punk on there too but hes not quite the same as he was in ROH though.

TNA will never have what it takes to compete with McMahon properly until they stop putting the belt on Jarret.
And as for ECW? That`ll do alright as long as they keep that dumb fucking bitch Steph out of it.

Shouldn't this thread be placed in the GAY section of the forum?

Yes I am a fan of wrestling and that includes WWE. They do some good and some bad but I always watch and have since 89.
And what Alice in blunderland said, if you want to watch wrestling then WWE for the most part and with a few exceptions is not the place to look.
Check out ROH, Dragon Gate, Noah and any tapes of All Japan Women, All Japan Men, New Japan and ECW from the early to mid 90s to see what it is really all about.
Also TWC on Sky can show some good stuff as well, altohugh ROH is woefully behind. highlights on there is up to date TNA, memphis, Noah and monthly TNA PPVs.
