Excellent stuff...... I can identify with virtually all that you mention, but- I think I might be a wee bit younger than some of you- can anybody enlighten me on the 'white dog shit' phenomenon? Or are you referring to the top of a Walnut Whip?
That script should be recorded by Layla Jade and sold as a relaxation CD!
Or, OEJ, get Faye to narrate it along with some her more poetic excerpts! ;D

World Of Sport with Dickie Davies, Grand Stand. Littlewoods pools. The Goodies, Patrick Duffy in The Man From Atlantis....
As for the white dog shit phenomenon...white dogshit was obviously fresh poo out of a dogs arse oxidisng with the air on the pavement for several days. Better to trip up on your laces and fall on one with your hand than a fresh squidgy eh?
Spacedust, dipsticks, lucky bags....Jackanory...The Krankies, Basil Brush (Boom Boom)....Silver buses during the 1977 Jubilee...Showaddy Waddy...Peters & Lee...."From Norwich. Its the quiz of the week"...Sale Of The Century with Nicholas Parsons, Are you Being Served "I'm FREEE!" "Shut that door!" Larry Grayson...oh man. Memories.
