A lot can happen to any of us in 7 years-indeed we have the other Olympics to shatter our brains in '98,before we reach ours.
As Marino said "East is East" and nothing is going to change that with all it's flag waving,we will always have that dividing line from the west.
I believe we are going to have a special word with God about the weather though for 2012.We will sign him up to a contract,shifting all the rain to France during this period.

It will definitely be a shot in the arm during the lead up & the 2 weeks of action but like all euphoric experiences the hangovers a bitch
As for getting tickets to the event of your choice,
you either need to be connected or have the luck of the devil to get what you ask for,as the ticket allocating process is a LOTTERY where millions enter
Better to just become a Volunteer and get free access to some events than be disappointed by getting tickets via the lottery to some obscure event that has the popularity of watching grass grow

makes me wonder how the goverment can afford it ,cant get money for national health service yet they pour it all in here.
