For mine once money is involved Sport is no longer sport its Business
which makes it just another money making machine with all involved just milking it to make a living

As such who ever has the most money usually wins

Just look at all the Pacific Islanders who have been induced away from their
Counties of origin to play for Australia or New Zealand Rugby.I'd go so far as to say those nations might actually be competitive if they weren't continually losing this talent

When you say that smaller or minority sports like Tae Kwon don't get funding remember how much football gets to provide the future for the England national team? Fuck all.

The new National Centre for Football was suspended by the FA because of lack of funds as they had to finance what is to all intents and purposes a National Stadium.

What do the government put in? Fuck all.

It's the same old story in Blighty. Everyone wants us to be the best but no one wants to pay for it and that includes nearly all sports not just the monority ones.
