I read a few of Lawhead's earlier books. He's good. Lately, I've been reading stuff recommended to me---which has taken me into Richard And Judy Book Club territory. But I've enjoyed what I've read.

Oh, and the latest Harry Bosch novel by Michael Connolly. Excellent as ever.

Liked Irvine welsh's "Filth" which was a very dark & quite an eye opener into how sick and twisted the Glasgow C.I.D can be! Exellent book though...

Only ever got halfway through Irvine's "Porno" got pissed & left it by the pool on hols & someone nicked it!! Has anyone finished it, was it any good?

No, South Park was created by two guys from Colorado---who rip the piss out of everything, and especially Canadians.

As far as Scottish writers are concerned, I stick to the two Ia(i)ns---Banks and Rankin. Never tried anything by Welsh.

According to Variety, Paramount shut down Watchmen in preproduction only this week.

And Mr Moore himself is none too impressed by what they're doing to "V for Vendetta" according to Lyin in the Gutters.

Thank you.
