Great show! the second series is on dvd next year ,shame series one was such a plodder! They attack the tripods and deafeat them with bombs or somthing in hot air ballons in the third part???? an idea i nicked by that si fi series V!

I think you'll find that V did a whole lot of nicking. Its creator even had the cheek to claim that Independence Day stole the "spaceships over Earth's cities" shot from V. "Try reading Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke (published early 50s), you plagiarising gimp! Oh, you already have."

That sounds like FOX a gritty London drama in the mould of early Sweeney episodes. Just got it on 4 DVDs for ?27.00
A well spent ?27 I might add

ace is right it fox was 80s ,i think hog was about 1969?70 not many shown in the london area,fox was repeated in 1983 but i was taping the avengers/prisoner at the time missed it.

Try ebay mate, click FOX then Video and DVD as the word FOX is covered by lots of things. Its on DVD (4 discs) and video. Mine is brand new and unsealed. Peter Vaughan and a young Ray winstone DO feature
