The Millenium Park that's just opened (yep you're right - "Millenium" Park, it should've opened four years ago.) looks pretty impressive and looking at the city skyline from a boat tour on Lake Michigan is, as the locals are fond of saying, 'awesome dude'.

I'm looking forward to my first winter here; should be quite an experience. Fall's not too bad thus far; late October and it's sunny and 71 today.

Talking about living in the middle, i live in York in the north of England and for all it's faults it's a fantastic place to live 2000 years of history and low unemployment,it's an oasis of beauty compared to some of the other cities in the north of england;but when i've been on holiday in America, i'm always asked if i'm from FUCKING London!
The worst thing is ,York recently was voted no.1 tourist city in the whole of the u.k by the daily telegraph, so that means more pigging tourists.
The upside is that we have a really divers e culture. you go into a bar and the people next to you will be speaking Spanish/french/German?dutch,etc
a lot study at the university,and there's even a bar where all the Yanks who live and work in the city go to socialise.
So Bimmer If you ever come to England for a holiday i recommend our city, just be sure to wear flared checked trousers ,light blue acrylic top,a fucking big camara round your mid-riff;and an "Oilers baseball cap ",you'll fit right in.
