The 'fair and balanced' Fox News has just had a dig at the Power of Nightmares, gleefully slagging off the BBC and the Guardian at the same time.

The latest Private Eye was having a go at Fox News---and particularly the silence from other Murdoch organs (The Sun, The Times) when Fox is caught out lying and spinning its "news" coverage for political reasons.

Subscribing to Private Eye was one of the last things I did before moving over here; not good for the blood pressure but it's nice to keep in touch with what's happening back 'home'.

Fox News sings (very loudly) from the Republican songsheet, if Bush loses god knows how they'll react.

Worth noting that most of the US TV networks were calling the last election for Gore, until FOx started highlighting the Florida situation.

Part of the conspiracy theory surrounding that election involved Jeb Bush being governor of Florida, and a Bush cousin being an excutive for Fox News.
