I find it hard to believe that he had a 68 percent approval rating as President when he left office

Rose Colored Glasses again

As the democrats said....we started with a mountain of debt due to his spending on Arms paid for through increased debt & welfare cuts

You can see most of the equipment sitting out in a certain desert for sale to the rest of the world

my personal opinion is that his popularity is only down to his time coinciding with the end of the cold war, but a certain Gorbaechov (sp) had a lot more to do with it

Its taken all this to prove what the US counter-terrorism experts have been saying all along.

You should read Richard Clarke's AGAINST ALL ENEMIES. Clark was the number one person in the US in counter-terrorism, reporting directly to Clinton when Al Qaeda first became known. In it he says his department had no evidence of Saddam being involved in any anti-US terrorism in the last 10 years.
