"Louise has a taste for the good things in life...."
By which I presume you mean the EXPENSIVE things in life.
They aren't necessarily the same.

Indeed, and agreed. I too appreciate the brightly glittering baubles of our consumer society. But I also enjoy just sitting on a hill in the middle of the countryside on a hot sunny summer afternoon, gazing at the vast expanse and indigo of the sky, imbuing the tranquillity, watching the birds of prey as they call out and circle the valley below in the shimmering heat. I find it fabulously uplifting. I don't think Louise would care too much for those cheap, unfashionable, pleasures though. But no ones perfect, and Louise being Louisey is what makes her such character.

I cannot imagine sitting in a wine-bar, however crushingly overpriced and trendy, while the sun is shining and thousands of young ladies are walking about half-naked.
Lou might care to note that she could do a bit of pec- and quad-watching on the young gentlemen passers-by, whilst sharing your idyllic vigil...........there's always a negotiaiting position, isn't there?

I think Nicky meant pulling Ms Church, rather than Ms Hodges.

He did, but he stands little chance of either, so his choice of target would seem immaterial.....

True, but the original misconception led to Dibble's disparaging remarks about Louise's inability to enjoy the simple beauty of a sunset.

No.
You are in the wrong thread.
At least, I think you're in the wrong thread.
Therefore you are (see above, and sideways).
