It's POSTERNS I was talking about. Dr Johnson (of Johnson & Johnson fame) said that horses and other perissodactyl herbivores couldn't be said to have knees, but rather to have pasties, because their knees would otherwise be at the end of their feet. So he called them posties. See?
I bet Farmer McGregor would know, him being a farmer and doing animals and stuff.
