yeah, i think peter kay is great too.
tend to like the older comics such as les dawson, morecambe and wise, two ronnies, etc. mind you i can't stand jim davidson

To your list of old, classic comedy shows I MUST add Steptoe and Son. I've just finished watching a new comedy show called "Garth Marenghi's Darkplace" and that was bloody funny too. I really think we're in a golden era of comedy right now but wether the modern shows stand up alongside the classics is a tough one. Personally I reckon Alan Partridge, The Office, Phoenix Nights etc are in the same league as Steptoe, Two Ronnies, Morecambe and Wise etc but that's just my opinion.

Never liked Steve Coogan in any thing he has gone.......to be honest I never watched one Alan Partidge eps.......just thought it would be a waste of time!!

When Johnny Vegas first came around, he was great and the TV show 'Happiness' only re-enforced this, but the last 12 months, his output has been shit. Yes, Im afraid Johnny IS overrated.
I agree with the other examples, but for Mark and Lard, who I think are brilliant, but then again, I think Chris Moyles is a twat

It's not a working mens club steve........it's set out in L.A.!!

I think it's a good ad too.......when it starts you think what's all this about!! Then right at the end you get the gag line.......nice one!!
