The Big M are as poor as piss.
I stopped by my local drive thru for a Triple Thick Shake (strawberry)
it was 10.02, they close at 11.00pm.
"Sorry sir we switch the machine off at 10.00 as we have to clean it before closing" Bolloxs it like a pub stopping serving lager an hour befor last orders as they need to clean the pumps, it would never happen.
No Shake..CC defeated by a pimply skate geek...Pissed off !!!!!!!
Smash the Mac

I like to use Mc, Donalds occasionally, I have never really had 'bad' service, well no more than some expensive restaraunts! where I have had appalling service, I just take it for granted that not all people who work at Mc, Donalds are very bright, whenever I have complained it has been dealt with, refund, new food, blow job, etc, no Q,s asked, I like their coffee, 1/4lb without cheese, ice cream etc, and they usually have clean bogs(important when you travel like me a lot), thier big breakfast is ace! and all for under ?2, cant whack it............. hmmmm, feel a 1/4lb er coming on right now!
Also there is no excuse for blaming Mc D,s for gross obesity, they dont force feed you! every once in a while and a decent diet in-between, and that all so important excersise will keep the wieght off....

MacDonalds really are a shoddy outfit. I, along with my girlfriend go there regularly and I have seen what happened to Buttsie first-hand when a long queue had to re-order from the 10.30 onwards menu.
My big gripe is that I only eat fish, so their filet-o-fish is ok for me, BUT..........it takes about 5 mins to cook the fucker, but they will happily disperse the rest of the order and offer 'to bring it over when its ready' which results in eaten fries and milkshake by the time I get my filet-o-fish. What they SHOULD do is bring the whole order at the same time.
A piss poor shower of bastards

i would normally never use a fast food burger franchies, but i'd been up since 6am and not had breakfast and it was now 10.15am. also there are no non franchies eateries on the journey. so there was little choice. bring back the old roadside 'greasy spoons'/cafe's. - not the little vans

Magoo, you're right on certain points, but:
'Some might say smokers, junkies and alcoholics deserve more sympathy because they are suffering from a serious psychological and physical addiction rather than just being gluttons who like to stuff cake down their gizzards all day'
You forget the subsequent psychological issues that can stem from physical issues such as obesity - self-loathing, say, not to mention the psychological issues from which they can stem initially (comfort eating, anyone?) Do remember that obesity is attached to a lifelong necessity: food, which sets it apart somewhat from drugs, booze, fags etc. This is where obesity can be tricky to deal with - the addiction (and it is) cannot be cut out altogether as it often is with drugs, booze and fags. Imagine an ex-alcoholic having just half a bottle of beer each day.

True Lizard exercise and a balanced diet would go a long way to curtailing the obesity epidemic but fast food outlets are still a big part of the problem
I liken Fast Food to Poker Machines....they are everywhere and are causing more bad than good in society IMHO.The perception that the majority of the population can handle them but its the 1-5% that can't is a falsehood IMHO
No one forces anyone to do anything but to ignore all the warning signs would be foolhardy
There are plenty of surveys that show that those living close to the poverty line choose to eat takeaway for a variety of reasons
Maybe a return to the Food Coupon days might be in order....might make people treat takeaway as a treat and not a replacement for real food that has some nutritional value....at least those on welfare anyway
I still believe that there are millions of people that have no idea of what to be healthy means because they've never been shown how or more importantly why?
You are what you eat on 2 levels
Physical & Mental
