insted of Religion i would use the word spirtuality, because everyone has a soul and that, for me, its the real church. i come frome Italy(Rome) where, i guess all of you know, we have the Vatican and the Pope. well honestly i admire the person Woitila(spelled right?)but not what is rappresenting,as many of you pointed out , religion(s) its a tool to controll masses particularly the poorest. who said "religion oppium of the masses"?

Much truth spoken on this thread methinks, but certainly Christianity and Islam have inspired wonderful architecture and art and the Christian faith has given a similar creative momentum to some of Western music's finest composers and their works.

thats true in fact i find documentaries on ch 4 in the 90s eg flight over spain/the art of landscape very relaxing.
