Mark & Lard are the undisputed kings of radio 1 . As for the argument that it 's the same joke repeated over and over again well yes that's true and it's still funny. You might also want to consider The Fast Show, Dick Emery & Harry Enfield television programme.

Moyles was funny when he was on at 4 in the morning probably because he could get away with a lot more now he is simply tedious and consumed with the sound of his own voice. It's painfully obvious that he is unaware that lad-ism went out of style in about 1999 unfortunately he still has a devouted listenership. Watch how his breakfast show will die on its arse next year. It's about time the self appointed saviour of radio 1 ate some humble pie to prove that he's not as good as he thinks he is. Moyles only has to look at his short lived TV career to prove this - which is why he is destined to stay on radio for the rest of his career.

Jo Whiley however is a very knowledgable music journalist and though she may be boring at least she knows what she's talking about.

Sara Cox - great tits ...urr that's it.

Dave Pearce ... utterly unmemorable

and some of the others give mediocrity a bad name . Nemone! Emma B! Colin (irritating tit) & Edith (bland).

You know you're getting old when Radio 2 and and the Today programme on radio 4 are your first ports of call.

i'm afraid you are as behind the times as i am WillieBo, i haven't listened to Radio 1 since the days of Simon Mayo in the afternoon.
must admit i used to enjoy DLT on a saturday morning with his darts quiz, and will never forget his reaction when Noel Edmonds set him up on the show by answering all the questions wrong.

Who is the VERY annoying Oirish DJ (NOT Wogan) that does stand-ins for 'known' DJs when they have another holiday? His 'happy-go-lucky' Irish blarney is very annoying.

Mark & Lard are the undisputed kings of radio 1 .

Sorry you're wrong.

As for the argument that it 's the same joke repeated over and over again well yes that's true and it's still funny. You might also want to consider The Fast Show, Dick Emery & Harry Enfield television programme.

They're not funny, just overrated.

I agree that Jo Whilley does tend to only play the music that she kiles, but as most of the time I like it as well I'm not gonna complain.
Now Moyles is doing the breakfast slot I wo't be able to listen to him as I'll already be at work or asleep so I'm one less listener.
Sunday mornings are ok with Spoony and the Dream Team, amuse me a great deal.

We got both kindsa music here. We got Country and Western

john peel great, don?t start me ... that cunt is the equivalent of a musical anorak of narf, shite and unhip music, not sure who listens to some of these groups he keeps larking on about, plus he lives in the distant past, reminds me of one of those old drunken chaps who talks to himself in your local and nobody takes a blind bid of notice to, except he gets payed for it .... oh I remember the summer of 72, oh what a scorcher it was, I am off to my usual corner of my local!!
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?
