The most interesting stuff in that book was how many of Bush's inner circle are linked with the oil and armaments industries. It may be the cynic in me, but there is a nagging doubt that the war on Iraq may have been some kind of payback for getting elected. No, of course not, fine upstanding church-going honest folk, the lot of them.

The problem with guys like Michael Moore is that what he reports on his TV shows did happen but wether its the wide spread or isolated is always left up to the viewer to judge. They of course stupidly think its widespread

Its similar to the nightly news where you get the idea that all that happens in the world is death & destruction-clearly not true but thats the power of the TV

The most worrying thing for mine is that even when there is a Government Watchdog it is never funded properly so it is a waste of time

The practices of many big companies & financial firms smacks of corruption
I put it all down to the incredible bonuses on offer to the executives
which weren't linked to performance-I still find this unbelievable

The only part of stupid white men that does hold true is on the last page relating to big brother.Where once we looked to Big Brother as the enemy
we now look to anybody in our general vicinity.Big Brother has neatly become our protector & friend-scary stuff

George Bush set the ball rolling and all the Presidents to follow will have the RIGHT to strike without cause all in the name of keeping America safe from terrorism

cheers
