Not strictly true, Wrob old chap.

For a real Rolls Royce ride you'll need to shell out for a British machine and operating system. Iyonix is the current incarnation of the Acorn legacy running Riscos. Lack of software will keep it a niche machine but I'm saving up for a new machine in the spring.

As someone who has all three platforms here its Macs for use, Acorn for pleasure and Windows for emergencies only. If a windows machine is a Ford then a Mac is a Merc but the Acorn is a Roller.

MAC's simply kick-ass!!

I use both PC's and MACs it is down really to what you want to use it for..?
I swear by my new PowerMac G5 with dual 2Gb 64bit processors, a full 8GB RAM!, 2 x 250GB Hard drives = I use it for Video using Apples Final Cut Pro 4..
The OS is exceptionally stable and the environment and simplicity, and design of the software by Apple is superb... Personally they are expensive but they are mega quick, they are efficient and for graphics and video and 3D work no PC can touch them - As someone said here 'you pay for what you get'.
