in the sixties & seventies especially in cul-de-sac communities

I can still recall you had gates that gave you access to your side & back neighbours.Doors were always open...windows never closed...this was in the city not the country

Replaced with 6/7 ft steel fences,one way triple bolted dead locked security doors & grills/roller shutters on all windows
