i dont want to believe that ppl like those listed solely marry ppl for money but i think theres some kind of deeper subconcious attraction these ppl have to wealthier guys and that may confuse things....just a thought maybe wrong. none of them really seem like they are that bad...dont forget most ppl marry inside their nearest social circle and thus those women are likely to meet other ppl in those specific fields. just in the same way ppl meet at the office etc.....

You're right.
Stunning wannabe starlets or models would never marry to further themselves or their reputations.
I mean ginger, slimey, Joe 90 looking chav toothed slag Evans really must have hit the marks for little child bride Billie.
Child was 17!!!
Now if I have a daughter of that age who comes home with a 30something and says "Dad, I'd like you to meet the man who wants to marry me", I'd seriously smash him to bits and call him all kind of paedo.
Someone with that kind of money feeling the need to impress a little child that barely knows her own mind. Hey I saw her interviewed and I thought the girl was a moron!! She was on Buzzcocks once and they didn't stop taking the piss out of the brainless bit of jailbait.
In fact, I believe they referred to her as Jailbait Piper.
Marrying into a circle should also denote age. The majority of those listed, in fact all of them, have an age gap.
I should have added the latest arsehole couple, the Zeta-Jones'.
Is it father figure?
Nope. Check out Imran Khan. He wanted to marry into money so he could carry on funding the hospital in Pakistan.
Cynical? Factual actually as only a few months before he was proclaiming love to a VJ on MTV. Krsitianna Backer I think.
It's all convenience.
Look how stick insect Victoria Beckham hangs onto David!

I think it was the Trump woman who said, when asked if she's still love him if he lost all his money;
"I'll always love him, i'll miss him, but i'll always love him."

Good call Steve.
But he has ALWAYS married a young one.
Dirty old letch of a man.
He must be a good 40 years older than his current wife.
What about Paul Daniels and his much younger ex ballerina wife Debbie MacGee?
The guy looks like he should be down deep south playing a banjo! Bing Crosby earred looking dirty old man.
