lol. I am willing to offer my services too, as are thousands of other guys. I look on the internet every few days for new pics of Poppy - not seen any new ones other than that one with her and her friend Katja Kassin which I linked to above. Would be nice if some new ones appear soon.

Nice to see the good folk of Hull recognise Poppy as one of the city's assets in its successful bid for the 2017 City of Culture:

Thanks for posting! Poppy is certainly a star. To have an article about you written in a national newspaper confirms you're a big name! I've not heard of The Courier before but to have an article written in that newspaper, however big a paper it is, confirms your stardom aswell.
Darren Morgan, a question...

Hi Darren. I'm a fan of Poppy's as well as other British porn girls (Laura Hermansen and Angel Long to name two others, I once started a fan page for Laura online).
Some memories of Worthing! I remember you said on here once that you and Poppy used to live in Worthing and you both ran your business from there. I lived in Goring, next door, for over 10 years and used to work for a long time just off Montague Street in Worthing town centre. I recall you once saying you shared a property in Park Road, and lived in the same building as that Kendo chap, he who made the 'Caged' film that Poppy stars in.
I know Park Road, it's just by the hospital. My girlfriend back then used to play tennis in the park there all the time. Did you ever frequent The Burlington on the seafront? Me and my work crowd used to. It was a good after-work boozer. Many of the pubs in the town centre got very rowdy on Friday and Saturday nights, I can remember punch ups in the street and the Police turning up on a few occasions when all the chavs got too pissed. Mostly though Worthing is a nice town. Just out of interest, what road did Poppy and you live in in Worthing after you left Park Road? As it's years since you left I'm sure you won't mind saying. I might know it. I liked living down that way. Was easy to get to London from there too. I miss living on the south coast sometimes.

Hi Laura,
Yes indeed we did live on Park Road with Kenny Rye (Kendo) and his wife Lisa.
Kenny is still a very close friend and we keep in touch.
We enjoyed our time in Worthing, great place to live!
Yes, I do know the Burlington and we did have a "few" in there from time to time, along with other establishments in Worthing town center.
After we left Park Road we lived in an apartment called "Esplanade" it was right on the beach and the view from our apartment was fantastic! Just the waves crashing up the beach and endless sea to stare at, so relaxing!
Poppy is quite a good pianist and she would sit in front of the window playing her piano ! great memories!
Our families are still in Hull so we would visit back there on a regular basis, no place like home!
It was work that moved us to Worthing but I do not regret it, great town, and being so handy to travel to London was ideal for Poppy and I.

Hi Darren,
Thanks for that. I used to know someone who lived towards the eastern end of Worthing - off Brighton Road, near where you and Poppy lived. It must have been nice living in a place right on the seafront, especially in summer. Interesting to hear that Poppy is a pianist.

Very interesting to discover that The Popster is handy on the piano! She should do a YouTube video where she is tickling the ivories.

Poppy is a very intelligent and talented lady, there's far more to Poppy than anyone thinks.
I spoke with her today and we still agree that even with all this going on it is so important to keep our personal lives and who we are intact, we have tried to maintain that all along.
Poppy is retired from the industry and she deserves her privacy, the publicity that has come from this is fine from a business point of view as it confirms what she did achieve, and what we achieved as a partnership, but that's where it ends.

I agree that porn girls have a private life too, but the public and the private will always get mixed up if pictures and articles about the person appear in mainstream media. Here is a paragraph from an interview Poppy did with Bizarre magazine in September 2004, the interviewer touches upon the question of family members finding out that she is a pornstar. I've copied and pasted:
STARTS
Q: Are you worried about them finding out?
A: I'm not worried about them finding out, I would just rather tell them about it myself. My immediate family - my mum, my dad, my sister, my brother - they know. The rest of them don't. They know I model but they don't know about the video.
ENDS
Now that there's coverage and photos in the Hull Daily Mail, The Courier, The Daily Mirror, The Sun, and in the Hull City of Culture promotional brochure, the chances of wider family finding out are increased.
